Nose: Tobacco & Peat with notes of sherry and oak.

Its strange name means "mouth of the river" and betrays the location of the distillery at the point where o
Margadale river meets the east coast of Islay. It is the only distillery on the island that uses pure
water directly from a spring, which is not affected by peaty soils and thus contributes to its character
whiskey produced. Its history begins in 1883 and it is famous for its stability and respect for traditions
of. Contrary to the trends of Islay, it produces whiskey mainly not peated, non chilled filtered and without extra colorings.
