Vineyard: Selection of specific vineyards with old vines of very low acreage yield in the area of Meteora. Harvest in the last week of August-1st week of September
Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation in French oak tanks and aging for 24 months in 200% new fine-grained barrels 225 L French oak. Then at least 24 months aging in the bottle.
Tasting note: Dense purple color with violet highlights, exuberant aromas of black fruit, chocolate, black pepper, sandalwood and caramel hints. Sturdy in the mouth, with velvety tannins, aromas of berries, coffee and sweet spices and a long complex aftertaste.
Accompanies: Hunting, rich red meats, smoked meats and cheeses.
Aging potential: At least 10-15 years
