Characteristics : Fides is a vineyard located within the Barolo appellation where any reasonable producer would plant Nebbiolo, the variety allowed in Barolo. But not Pio Cesare. Thus, we have a Barbera planted on 'holy' soil and a truly exciting wine, which certainly winks at the style of a Barolo.
Harmony - Serving temperature : Served at 18 C, Pleasant to drink on its own, but goes best with rich meat stews, grilled fillets, fatty cheeses
