Dry White
Origin: PGI Crete "Aspros Lagos" is the toponym of the vineyard.
Varietal composition: 100% Vidiano
Winemaking: Classic white winemaking at 20 ° C, with 5 months fermentation done in a barrel.
Features: Very nice golden color, with yellow-green highlights. Aromas of white flowers and citrus. But it also smells of butter, suspected wax, apricot, linden and melon. Rich taste, which with a little more aging in the bottle acquires oily characteristics, develops a dense apricot character that smells of high class musk. The taste of the wine also has a seductive mineral background. Long lasting aftertaste, enjoyable in tons of apricot.
Serve: at a temperature of 10 ° C. It accompanies excellent grouper, big grouper and rib, lobster, all shellfish, turbot and grilled scorpion, also pork with yellow dried fruit and poulada with white sauce and mushrooms. Extremely successful and voluptuously enjoyable is the combination with boiled zigzag and pilaf, as well as lamb with askolymbros and white sauce.
