Mavrodafni in its dry vinification gives wines with deep purple color, medium to full body, good acidity & tannins.
Vinification: The aim of this wine is to highlight a local red variety of Achaia that until now was not particularly known for its dry wines, and in fact in fresh vinification, in order to better highlight the complexity of the fruity aromatic character without the effect of aromas of wood. The grapes remain in the refrigerator at 8˚C for 48 hours. The grapes are then dewormed and extracted cold for 12 hours. After a little soaking with the marcs, the pure must is transferred to a stainless steel tank for malolactic fermentation.

Characteristics: In the soils of the mountain slopes of Egialia, north orientation and with moderate yields per stump, Mavrodafni in its dry vinification gives wines with deep purple color moderate to full body, good acidity & tannins. A fresh wine with deep red color and complex aromas of red fruits, plum and sour cherry. It is rich in flavor with soft tannins.
