Varietal composition: Agiorgitiko - PDO Nemea
Winemaking: Le Sang de la Pierre is produced from an overripe Agiorgitiko vintage of very low acreage yield applying Burgundy winemaking practices. The small vineyard of 14 acres in Traganes on the unexplored side of Nemea justifies its creator in the expression of terroir. The soil is cobbled, the plants develop their roots deep in the stony soil as well as from the complete lack of any fertilization. Aging in French Oak barrels from 14 to 16 months. It is not filtered, it is not stabilized.
Tasting characteristics: Solid red, purple color. Aromas of red forest fruits, caramel, nuts, pepper, chocolate and coffee notes. Mouth full, exuberant with tannins in harmony and balance with the acidity that do not perceive the increased alcohol. Long aftertaste that with the rest of the data indicates several years of life.
