Kotyle - The Estate's top series, inspired by the cup of King Nestor
Varietal Composition: Chardonnay | 100%.
Vineyard location: Semi-mountainous vineyards of Triphyllia | 550m. Altitude.
Characteristics: Deep lemon color with subtle golden highlights. Noble aromas of oak, vanilla and nuts dominate, which are framed by typical, but mildly intense fruity elements of the variety. This is followed by white vinification with pre-fermentation cryo-extraction and controlled alcoholic fermentation with selected yeast strains. The wine matures for 9 months in French oak barrels with lees agitation and an additional 9 months in the bottle to complete the maturation.
Serving temperature: 11-13°C.
Favorite Dishes: Large grilled fish, chicken, turkey, pork fillet, lemon recipes, but also white sauces. Creamy cheeses as well as soft cold meats.
