Varietal composition : Assyrtiko

Organic Wine

ALBA VISSA is produced exclusively from fully ripe Assyrtiko grapes from 15-year-old vines in the single privately owned vineyard in the area "Paleokastra", "Vissa" according to Homer in Megaplatano Atalantis.

Low-yielding unvaccinated Assyrtiko vines grow in barren-limestone clay soils with an almost 30% active Ca + 2 calcium content. From a prolonged ripening period and in highly concentrated fruit, which was vinified in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature.

No oak use and malolactic conversion took place. On the contrary, the fine wine sludges were matured in a cyclonic regime for 12 months.

ALBA VISSA is naturally stabilized.
