Varietal Composition: Produced from the Greek indigenous varieties Limnio, Mavroudi and Mavrotragano. Limnio is mentioned by Aristophanes as "limnia Imbelos" in the 5th century BC. - is the oldest Greek variety and dominates the wine.
Vinification: After the extraction and completion of the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in special oak tanks of Burgundy, the wine ages in oak French barrels. It has a bright deep purple color, a complex bouquet of spices with ripe black fruits (raspberry), raisins, coffee and cocoa.
Features: In the mouth gentle tannins are supported by plenty of fruit, creating strength and balance. Its aftertaste is constant with repetition of spices. It has a high aging potential and is served at 16–18 ° C.
