Varietal composition: Cabernet Franc - Merlot
Vinification: The vines are about 17 years old. The wine matured for 22 months in 225 liter French oak barrels, of which 75% are new.
Tasting: On the face deep attractive purple. On the nose aromas of black fruit, blueberry, gooseberry, sour cherry and plum can be distinguished, combined with characteristic florality and aromas of violet and eucalyptus. In the mouth it is dry, with rounded intense ripe tannins, full body, and sharp acidity. In the mouth flavors of ripe black fruits and sweet spices dominate.
Accompanies: Goes with game, wild boar, rib eye, veal and generally cooked red meats, ripening cheeses.
Aging potential: Can be consumed immediately, but can be aged for +15 years from the harvest.
Served: Ideally served at 16°C.
