Type White Dry
PGI Peloponnese
Variety: Assyrtiko, Kydonitsa.
Vineyard: From 2 unique vineyards in Bogazi Nemea / Vlachioti Laconia. Part of the Assyrtiko is fermented in oak barrels
Characteristics: Émigré from Mitravelas estate, is a white exuberant wine with finesse, fruit and the familiar minerality of the Assyrtiko variety. The coexistence with Kydonitsa gives it an additional fine aromatic dimension with characteristics of unripe citrus fruits, lemon blossoms, peach and pineapple. Also faint notes of yeast, vanilla and toasted bread from its brief contact with the barrel which also adds oiliness to the mouth.
It goes well with cabbage rolls, lemony lamb and medium-fat fish.
