Variety: Chardonnay 15%, Assyrtiko 85%

Characteristics: In the search for the Naked Queen, excellent grapes from white varieties were selected in a separate harvest in the vineyards of Kolindros, Pieria: Assyrtiko (with 15% Chardonnay) and some of the rare varieties of Olympus that were cultivated before the phylloxera and have been preserved in local vineyards. Like another stoic Penelope, the Naked Queen can compete with time, underlining the importance of… anticipation. The white varieties Assyrtiko and Chardonnay are called upon to bear the burden of time and claim the title of white wine that can withstand aging and can mature, thanks to their exceptional character and the cultivation and winemaking conditions. After a separate vinification and maturation in acacia and oak barrels, the Naked Queen remained in the bottles for another six months. A white wine for aging, with intensity thanks to the sharp Assyrtiko, dressed, however, with finesse and nobility thanks to the melodic notes of Chardonnay…
